Each vehicle with its driver, contracts, mileage and services: the real cost per vehicle.
What the Fleet app does.
License plate, model (which pre-fills the specs), chassis number, fleet manager and usual location; transmission, seats, horsepower and CO2 emissions.
Each vehicle shows its current driver and the next one, with a handover date; the driver need not be an employee.
All contracts, leases included, are tracked in one place with an e-mail alert before the end date; services, bills and insurance are managed there too.
Each odometer reading, in kilometres or miles, is dated and linked to the driver, to follow the vehicle's use and value.
Each service has its type, date, cost, vendor and odometer value; it moves from New to Running, Done or Cancelled, and can come from a vendor bill.
A tab holds horsepower-based taxation, dated deductibility rates, catalog value, purchase price and residual value, for accounting.
Costs by period or vehicle, contracts apart from services, to spot the most expensive vehicles; recurring contract costs flow into accounting.
A column view follows each vehicle from request to registration; categories, models and makers are created to fit, and each vehicle's documents are kept together.
