Odoo Inventory
Accurate, valued and traceable stock, lot by lot, location by location.
Every move goes from one location to another: receipt, inspection, silo, shop floor, finished goods, customer. Stock is valued in real time in OHADA accounting.
What the Inventory app does.
Several sites, each with its locations: silos, store, shop floor, quarantine.
Receipt in one, two or three steps; picking and delivery; transfers between sites.
Lot at receipt and at production; one report goes from customer back to material.
The lot that expires first goes out first; alerts before the date.
Average cost, FIFO or standard; every move is posted to accounting.
Each location recounted at its own frequency, without stopping the plant.
Kilo, bag, pallet: one stock unit, the others converted.
Expected stock day by day, including upcoming receipts and issues.
A Min / Max rule on an imported material
Fictitious example: 2 tonnes used per day, a 45-day lead time, 100 tonnes per order; Min 156 t, Max 256 t, safety stock 66 t.
The settings that matter.
The path of each item, on the plan of the plant: the first thing we settle.
Each item category carries its stock and variation accounts: the accuracy of the result depends on it.
Delivering before declaring production: at a feed maker, the displayed average cost was seven times the real one.
Expensive materials monthly, the rest quarterly: differences are explained the same day.
